Nikeesha Patel to play female lead in Sikandi

Actor Vijay Vasanth, who managed to make an impact with his performance in Ennamo Nadakathu, will next be seen in the Tamil film Sikandi. The film, which is to be directed by Rajapandi, will feature actress Nikeesha Patel in the lead along with Vijay Vasanth.
Sources close to the film���s unit say that the film will also feature director Samudrakani in an important role.Other members of the cast will include Nasser, Sharanya and Manoj K Bharathi. They also indicate the possibility of comedian Soori making a cameo appearance in the film.
Sources say that the film���s story will focus on the education scenario in the country. The director, it seems, is intent on presenting his thoughts on how education should be, through this film. The film is expected to hit screens sometime in May next year.
